UniqAir Oy’s marketing register

Purpose of the processing of personal data

The contact information of all persons in the register are used to advance the sales of UniqAir Oy. The data are also used for marketing purposes and other communications.

Data contents of the register

The contents of the data register are made up of the following types of data. Some of the data are required, depending on the intended use, in order to be able to handle the matter in question as needed.

  • The person’s name
  • The person’s contact information (telephone number, e-mail address)
  • Information on the company the person represents (company name, location and Finnish Business ID)
  • Further information (additional information left by the person, like a message or some feedback)
  • Other identification (incl. the person’s public IP address)
  • Monitoring data (monitoring data from electronic marketing)

Regular Sources of Data

Information given with a person’s own consent either via forms in the online service or in sales and showcase events, as well as material automatically collected by the online service to support the analysis and development of the online service.

Processing, disclosure and storage of data

Data are processed within and outside of the EU and ETA. Data are only given to be used by UniqAir Oy. Data are stored for as long as the customer relationship can be considered valid and for a reasonable length of time after the relationship has been terminated.

Principles for the security of the register

The register’s data are located in secure environments in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

The right to audit and remedial action

Every individual having given their information to the register has the right to check the information about them that has been saved to the reigster and to demand they be corrected. Requests for corrections are sent by e-mail to the contact person’s e-mail address. The request is associated with the personal data associated with the sender’s e-mail address, unless the person who has sent the request is identified some other way.

Other rights related to the processing of personal data

Individuals have the right to prohibit the controller from processing the data on themselves for purposes related to direct marketing, distance sales, other direct marketing or market or opinion studies. Should the individual want to prohibit this type of activity, they may do so by contacting the controller by e-mail.
